How To Apply
Contacting the school for a discussion or an appointment is usually the first step.
Students enrolling at our school will be required to provide proof of age (indicating that they will turn 5 years of age on or before the 31 July of the year they commence school) and an immunisation certificate, proof of residential address, family law and/or other related court orders. Copies of the birth certificate and the immunisation certificate will be kept in the student’s folder. Students enrolling from another school need to provide us with a birth certificate, an immunisation record and a report or portfolio from their previous school.
Parents and Caregivers need to complete the School Enrolment Form and return this to the office with an enrolment fee of $ 50. The enrolment fee shall be charged to the parents applying after the test dates and it is complementary (free) for those appearing in the tests of 2013. Parents can download the enrolment form here.
If your child is not a permanent resident you will also need to provide:
* passport or travel documents
* Current visa and previous visas (if applicable).
After receiving the enrolment form, an interview/test will be booked. The principal or his appointee will conduct interviews with Kindergarten students and Parents before the commencement of the school year. The test is to ascertain the literacy and numeracy skills of the student so that we can organise a support programme beforehand. We aim to have this support programme ready when the student enters his/her school year.
A student will only be accepted at the School, provided :
There is a place for the student and we are able to accommodate the student’s educational needs.
Once the student is accepted, the parents and caregivers will be informed about School Rules, Discipline Policy and Positive Behaviour, Reward System and the procedure followed by the school if a student displays inappropriate behaviour.
Continuing enrolment is subject to the student’s adherence to school rules (see enrolment contract, pastoral care policies and behaviour management policies) and payment of all school fees.
It’s important that you tell the principal or admin if your child has any special circumstances, allergies, health or medical conditions, before your child starts school.
